InvenTeams
Inspiring a new generation of inventors.
Lemelson-MIT InvenTeams™ are comprised of high school students, educators, and mentors that receive up to $10,000 each to invent technological solutions to real-world problems of their own choosing.
The Landmark School InvenTeam won a grant in 2015 and will invent a device for a seaside homeowner, municipality, or interested group to replant and protect eelgrass. Healthy eelgrass populations reduce water turbidity and help preserve the marine biome. This device will increase the efficiency of the planting process while decreasing the cost.
